Nutritional support is an integral component in the treatment of head and neck cancers (HNC). Studies indicate 90% HNC patients are at high risk developing malnutrition. Chemo-radiation surgery, three common treatments used to treat highly susceptible toxic side effects. Dysphagia often underestimated patients. A prolonged impaired swallowing process can lead severe morbidities like malnutrition, dehydration, aspiration, pneumonia, even death. These complications have adverse effects on patients' QoL (Quality Life) mental health. reactions further complicate nutritional status final outcome, increasing morbidity mortality. The consensus statements try address issues provide practical recommendations for practicing dieticians clinicians.
